Making A Purchase:
Making a purchase with SAMSGift could not be easier. If you are browsing our website and you see a product you would like to order, you can select the product by clicking on the image. If you would like to order more than one of any particular item, please change the number in the quantity box. To order, click on the "Add to Cart" button.
Click the 'view cart' button to see your order information. Please check that your order is correct before selecting 'Checkout'.
Before being able to checkout, you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Your primary delivery address is the same as the billing address, however, you may wish for the gift to be sent to an address other than your own primary address, you can do this by filling in the new address form and adding the new address, this will be stored in case of future requirement.
If you have a coupon code, you should enter it at this point.
We accept debit and credit card payments aswell as payments processed by Paypal.
Tax charges VAT is included.
Next Day Delivery/Gifts to Arrive on a Specific Date
For Next Day Delivery orders (NDD) or for gifts to arrive on a specific date - for example gifts to arrive on Mothers Day, Valentines Day, a Birthday or Anniversary:
- Click on the product you would like to order and tick the 'Next Day Delivery or Enter Delivery Date - with free gift card and personal message' tickbox.
- Enter your requested delivery date (not required for NDD orders) and personal message in the box.
- If you do not require a complimentary gift card or you would like the complimentary gift card to be left blank, please let us know by typing your instruction in the box, i.e. 'no card' or 'no message' otherwise your order will not be added to your cart (NDD orders only).
If you require a Next Day delivery service you must place your order by 2pm. Your order will be despatched by first class recorded delivery and should arrive the next day.
Next Day orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday are delivered on Tuesday.
For Gifts to Arrive on a Specific Date, we will ensure that we despatch your order by first class recorded delivery the day before.
Please note all recorded deliveries require a signature upon delivery.
For these services we charge an additional £3.00 on top of our standard delivery charge of £3.50 (if applicable) and this includes a complimentary personalised gift card (if required).
When the tickbox 'Next Day Delivery or Enter Delivery Date - with free gift card and personal message' box is unchecked, all orders are despatched using our standard delivery without a complimentary gift card but personalised gift cards can be purchased separately.
Please NOTE: All orders received from 23rd December will not be despatched until 4th January 2017!!
We offer FREE UK delivery on all orders on orders over £10. The charge for postage and packing is £3.50 on orders under £10. Our standard delivery time is usually within 48-72 hours or on the specific gift delivery date if specified. Delivery times may be extended during certain busy periods (sale and Christmas).
Overseas orders will be charged an extra £10 flat rate International Standard Delivery Charge. Approximate delivery times are:
- Europe 10 days
- USA/Canada 14 days
- Elsewhere 14 days
Please note all orders are delivered by Royal Mail.
SAMSGift do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
This is the way we handle information:
Our Web server automatically recognizes only the visitor's domain name (not the e-mail address) and records the visitor's browser and platform type (e.g., Netscape browser on Microsoft platform).
When a visitor gives us an e-mail address while placing an order, or when visitors send us e-mail correspondence, we retain the visitor's e-mail address. We contact visitors by their e-mail address to confirm an on-line order, to respond to a sender's e-mail query and occasionally to inform customers about new products and promotions. By accepting our terms and conditions you are agreeing to receive emails from SAMSGift but can opt out of promotional emails at any time either by contacting us directly.
We retain information provided by our visitor, such as registration information, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) and contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number). On request with verification, we will give the visitor a reminder with unique identifier information (e.g., customer password). Visitors also have with the ability to correct inaccuracies in contact information and unique identifiers.
Visitors who give us their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed online.
We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our site server.
SAMSGift endeavours to supply its gifts following the highest levels of inspection and service. However we do operate a simple returns policy:
If you are not entirely delighted with the goods you have chosen, then just notify us by email (stating reason for return) and please ensure you return them to us unused within 14 days. We will be more than happy to provide a refund or you can exchange them for alternative products. Please keep all the packaging materials and return the goods as they were sent to you.
Items returned to us that arrive damaged or lost will not be credited. The delivery charge on the original order will not be refunded.
Goods damaged in transit to you will be replaced at no cost with free delivery. Please inform us of any breakage within three days of receiving the order and for returns information. If you do not inform us within 3 days, then we will have no liability for items said to be damaged/faulty on delivery. We will only refund return/exchange postage costs if the item returned is damaged or faulty on inspection. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for any return requests.
* No refunds/exchanges are available on earrings for hygenic reasons.
It is not necessary to return goods to us using the Royal Mail Recorded/Special Delivery service. However, we strongly recommend you obtain a free receipt of postage from the Post Office as proof of postage, as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
We have made every effort to display all our jewellery as accurately as possible. However as colours and images vary depending on your own monitor and browser we can not guarantee that products will be as exactly seen on your monitor. All products have been described with sizes/lengths given as accurately as possible.
